NOVELTY - The method involves preparing composite copper foil, where the composite copper foil comprises a substrate. A conductive seed layer is formed on a surface of the substrate, where the conductive seed layer includes non-metal conductive particles. The copper layer is plated according to a conductivity seed layer. Conductive mixture is coated on a surface of the substrate. Coating thickness is controlled between 0.01um-0.05um. A base material is selected from polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, carbon nano pipe or graphene. A surface of the substrate is polished. The surface of the substrate is roughened. USE - Method for preparing a composite copper foil of a battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables reducing damage of the base material when preparing the composite copper foil, using way of setting conductive layer to avoid use of magnetic control sputtering way, thus reducing damage to the substrate.
