NOVELTY - A solar cell comprises a first graphene-based conductive layer (1214) located, directly or indirectly, on glass substrate (1202); a first semiconductor layer (1208) in contact with the first graphene-based conductive layer; at least one absorbing layer (1206) located on the first semiconductor layer; a second semiconductor layer (1210) located on the absorbing layer; a second graphene-based conductive layer (1216) in contact with the second semiconductor layer; and a back contact (1212) located on the second graphene-based conductive layer. USE - A solar cell. ADVANTAGE - The graphene exhibits low sheet resistance (e.g., less than 150 ohms/square and lower when doped) and high transmission values (e.g. at least in the visible and infrared spectra). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) photovoltaic device comprising at least one photovoltaic thin-film layer, two electrodes; and two transparent, conductive graphene-based layers doped with n- and p-type dopants, respectively; (2) touch panel subassembly comprising a glass substrate; two transparent, conductive graphene-based layers; and a deformable foil; (3) touch panel apparatus comprising the touch panel subassembly and a display; (4) data/bus line comprising a graphene-based layer supported by a substrate, where a portion of the graphene-based layer has been exposed to an ion beam/plasma treatment and/or etched with hydrogen atom thus reducing conductivity of the portion; (5) antenna comprising a graphene-based layer supported by a substrate, where a portion of the graphene-based layer has been exposed to an ion beam/plasma treatment and/or etched with hydrogen atom to thin the portion of graphene-based layer in comparison to other portions of the graphene-based layer, where the graphene-based layer, as a whole, has a visible transmission of at least 80 (preferably at least 90)%; and (6) method of making an electronic device comprising forming a graphene-based layer on the substrate; and selectively patterning the graphene-based layer. The display is an LCD display. The touch panel apparatus is a capacitive touch panel apparatus or a resistive touch panel apparatus.
