NOVELTY - A battery negative electrode material includes a shell layer and an internal structure, where the shell layer is carbon, and the internal structure is a carbon layer confined space structure supporting tin-based quantum dots. USE - Battery negative electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The preparation method is simple, and has excellent achievability. The negative electrode material has high delithiation capacity, high coulombic efficiency, long cycle life, high rate performance and excellent safety, and meets the requirements of high-performance lithium-ion batteries for the comprehensive electrochemical performance of negative electrode materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the battery negative electrode material, which involves: (a) preparing tin-based quantum dot precursor solution by adding surface modifier solution and graphene oxide dispersion solution to mixed aqueous solution of soluble tin salt and soluble inert transition metal salt, ultrasonically dispersing and leaving still to obtain tin-based quantum dot precursor solution; (b) performing confinement synthesis of tin-based quantum dots-graphene by adding crosslinking agent to the tin-based quantum dot precursor solution, stirring, adding reducing agent, stirring, filtering, and washing until neutral to obtain tin-based quantum dots-graphene; and (c) adding the tin-based quantum dot-graphene into a water-soluble phenolic resin aqueous solution, stirring, and spraying, pyrolyzing and granulating.
