NOVELTY - Preparing graphene involves forming a graphite/water mixture and introducing the graphite/water mixture into a cavitation reactor using at least two offset nozzles. USE - Method for preparing graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene with improved chemical stability, exceptional strength and elasticity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are includedfor the following: (1) a avitation reactor for use in the method, which comprises cavitation chamber having at least two offset inlet nozzles which are directed towards the center of the cavitation chamber and at least one outlet; and (2) a graphene having a carbon content of at least about 98wt.%.
