NOVELTY - Method for promoting root growth of Festuca arundinacea involves (a) selecting e.g. graphene microchip, graphene oxide and carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotubes, and (b) adding garden soil and compost into pot, taking control pot comprising garden soil and compost, taking treatment pots comprising garden soil, and nanomaterials comprising graphene microchip, graphene oxide and carbon nanotubes, sowing F.arundinacea seeds into pot, watering plants, cultivating plants, measuring plant height and biomass, and determining relative indexes. USE - The method is useful for promoting root growth of F.arundinacea (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for promoting root growth of Festuca arundinacea involves (a) collecting compost from domestic waste composting plant located in small lake town of Tianjin city, crushing compost using sieve of 2 mm size, selecting garden soil having moisture content of 19.4%, pH of 7.27, conductivity of 2250 mu S/cm, organic matter content of 52.29 g/kg, total phosphorus content of 3.75 g/kg and total nitrogen content of 2.15 g/kg, selecting graphene microchip having size of 0.5-20 mu m, thickness of 5-25 nm, specific surface area of 40-60 m2/g, density of 2.25 g/cm3, conductivity of 8000-10000 S/m and carbon content of greater than or equal to 99.5 wt.%, selecting graphene oxide having 5-10 layers, thickness of 3.4-7 nm, diameter of 10-50 mu m, specific surface area of 100-300 m2/g and purity of greater than or equal to 90 wt.%, selecting carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotubes having diameter of 20-40 nm, length of 10-30 mu m, acid content of 1.43 wt.%, purity of greater than or equal to 90 wt.%, carbon content of less than or equal to 8 wt.%, specific surface area of 110 m2/g and conductivity of 102 S/cm, and selecting hydroxylated mult-iwalled carbon nanotubes having diameter of 20-40 nm, length of 10-30 mu m, hydroxide content of 1.63 wt.%, purity of 90 wt.%, content of less than or equal to 8 wt.%, specific surface area of greater than or equal to 110 m2/g, electrical conductivity of 102 S/cm, and (b) adding 1500 g garden soil and 50 g compost into pot in a ratio of 30:1, taking one control pot comprising garden soil and compost, taking 3 treatment pots comprising 1 weight/weight% garden soil, and 15 g nanomaterials comprising graphene microchip, graphene oxide and carbon nanotubes, where the pots are polyethylene plastic pots having length of 15 cm and diameter of 20 cm, sowing 5 g F.arundinacea seeds into each pot, maintaining pots at 18-25 degrees C and humidity of 35-65% in a room, maintaining light period of 6856-27090 Lux, watering plants, cultivating plants for 130 days, measuring plant height and biomass, after 130 days, cutting plants and determining relative indexes.
