NOVELTY - Self-lubricating lock core is claimed. The lock core surface having plasma spraying of 20-30 mu m thickness self-lubricating coating and the preparation of coating includes e.g. ball milling chromium carbide and nickel-chromium on a planetary ball mill to no longer precipitate, adding graphene, nickel coated micro-graphite and hexagonal boron nitride to continue milling, adding the organic binder into ball mill to get suspension, spraying the suspension to obtain self-lubricating agglomerated particles and plasma spraying the self-lubricating agglomerated particles on the surface of lock core. USE - Used as self-lubricating lock core. ADVANTAGE - The self-lubricating lock core has low coefficient of friction and better abrasion resistance than chromium coating. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Self-lubricating lock core is claimed. The lock core surface having a plasma spraying of 20-30 mu m thickness self-lubricating coating and the preparation of coating includes (i) ball milling the chromium carbide and nickel-chromium on a planetary ball mill to no longer precipitate, (ii) adding graphene, nickel coated micro-graphite and hexagonal boron nitride to continue milling for 10 minutes, (iii) stopping 5 minutes before the ball mill, adding the organic binder into ball mill to get suspension, (iv) spraying the suspension to obtain self-lubricating agglomerated particles and (v) plasma spraying the self-lubricating agglomerated particles on the surface of the lock core.
