ADVANTAGE - The lithium ion cathode material using the transition metal/graphene composite material having excellent charging-discharging characteristics, and can be manufactured economically with short period of time and reduced consumption of energy, by a simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A transition metal/graphene composite material comprises transition metal, antimony and graphene. The transition metal/graphene composite material is of formula: MxSb3/G, where the M is group VIIIB transition metal element, x is 0.95-1.05, and G is graphene. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of transition metal/graphene composite material, which involves dissolving group VIIIB transition metal element and antimony in deionized water or organic solvent, obtaining mixed solution, adding reducing agent, heating, cooling and drying.
