NOVELTY - A functionalized rubber/modified graphene oxide composite material comprises a rubber matrix and modified graphene oxide dispersed in the rubber matrix. The amount of the modified graphene oxide is 0.1-30 wt.%. USE - Functionalized rubber/modified graphene oxide composite material (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the method for preparing the functionalized rubber/modified graphene oxide composite material, which involves dispersing nano-zinc oxide into dimethyl sulfoxide, adding 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, fully dissolving, stirring at 80-150 degrees C for 1-8 hours, centrifuging to obtain a precipitate, washing 3-5 times with ethanol and deionized water, freeze-drying to obtain amino-functionalized nano-zinc oxide, where the mass ratio of nano-zinc oxide to 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane is 1:5-1:20, dispersing graphene oxide into N,N-dimethylformamide, adding the amino-functionalized nano-zinc oxide, dispersing, stirring at room temperature for 24-48 hours, carrying out suction filtration separation, washing 3-5 times with ethanol, freeze-drying to obtain amino-zinc oxide functionalized graphene oxide, where the mass ratio of graphene oxide to the amino-functionalized nano-zinc oxide is 1:1-1:5, re-dispersing amino-zinc oxide functionalized graphene oxide into dimethylformamide, adding carboxyl terminated butadiene acrylonitrile, reacting at 50-120 degrees C for 1-3 days, centrifuging, washing 5-8 times with acetone, freeze-drying drying to obtain the modified graphene oxide, where the mass ratio of amino-zinc oxide functionalized graphene oxide to carboxyl-terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile is 1:5-1:100, mixing the modified graphene oxide with the rubber matrix to obtain a composite rubber film, melt-blending the composite rubber film with a vulcanizing agent to obtain a composite rubber sheet and subjecting the composite rubber sheet to vulcanization molding to obtain the functionalized rubber/modified graphene oxide-based composite material.
