NOVELTY - Graphene quantum dot is prepared by mixing trinitrorylene with o-phenylenediamine, adding water and sodium hydroxide to obtain a reaction system, uniformly mixing and performing hydrothermal reaction at 180-220degrees Celsius to obtain graphene quantum dots. USE - The graphene quantum dot is useful for preparing formulation, fiber product or in vivo implant for providing antibacterial effect and inhibiting growth of bacteria (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene quantum dot has improved lethality and good cell compatibility.
