DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Cathode active material comprises metal compound and metal oxide compound. The metal compound having: MRx (I). The metal oxide compound having MyOz (II), The metal compound and the metal oxide are in contact. M=metal; x, y and z=positive nonzero real number; and R=atom, a molecule, or a radical, and has an oxidation state of -1.
