NOVELTY - Manufacture of a composite involves (I) charging mixer having one or more rotors with (i) at least one liquid masterbatch containing filler (a) dispersed in at least one elastomer, and (ii) a wet filler containing filler (b) and 15-65 wt.% liquid, (II) mixing the liquid masterbatch and the wet filler at mixer temperatures controlled by at least one temperature control unit to form a mixture, (III) removing at least a portion of the liquid from the mixture by evaporation, and (IV) discharging from the mixer. The composite containing fillers (a) and (b) are dispersed in at least one elastomer in a total filler of at least 20 phr, and has a liquid content of 10 wt.% or less. USE - Manufacture of composite used for forming article such as vulcanizate e.g. vulcanized rubber compounds and rubber articles (all claimed) such as pneumatic and non-pneumatic or solid tires used in cap and base, tread, inner liner, sidewall, wire, and carcass of vehicles. Can also be used for engine mounts, bushings, belts, windscreen wipers, rubber components for space and marine equipment, vehicle track components , seals, coatings, wheels, bumpers, and anti-vibration systems. ADVANTAGE - The method provides vulcanized compounds having excellent rubber properties, dynamic properties, and abrasion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of a vulcanizate, which involves curing the obtained composite in presence of at least one curing agent to form the vulcanizate.
