▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Method for fabricating composite material, involves forming a mixture containing an active material, graphene, ethyl cellulose (EC) polymer and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs); and thermally annealing the mixture at annealing temperature in an oxidizing environment to decompose the majority of EC, thereby resulting in the composite material having each active material particle coated with conformal graphene coating. USE - Method for fabricating composite material for electrode used in electrochemical device(claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material improves high-voltage stability, safety and equipment considerations associated with such chemistries. The graphene coated powders act as drop-in replacement for incumbent cathode powders, making this strategy immediately relevant for battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for:(1) composite material, comprises graphene and active material particles, where each surface of active material particles is conformally coated with said graphene;(2) electrode for electrochemical device, comprises composite material comprising graphene, and active material particles.
