NOVELTY - Carboxylated styrene-butadiene latex comprises 1-2 pts. wt. sodium lignin sulfonate, 2-3 pts. wt. dilauryl ether disulfonic acid, 0.2-0.4 pts. wt. tripotassium phosphate, 0.3-0.5 pts. wt. potassium persulfate, 100-150 pts. wt. water, 40-70 pts. wt. styrene, 30-50 pts. wt. butadiene, 2-6 pts. wt. acrylic acid and 0.2-0.8 pts. wt. dodecyl mercaptan. USE - Carboxyl butyl benzene latex used in cement-based artificial granite plate (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carboxyl butyl benzene latex helps in improving toughness and deformation ability of cement-based granite and anti-wear, good impact resistance, strong weather resistance, effectively solves problem that cement-based artificial granite plate strength is not enough, low gloss, bad durability, where material is low in price and low in cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a method for preparing carboxyl butyl benzene latex, which involves: (a) taking sodium lignin sulfonate, bis-dodecyl ether disulfonic acid, tripotassium phosphate, potassium persulfate in water after dissolving completely; adding styrene, butadiene, acrylic acid, dodecyl mercaptan; (b) raising temperature to 55-65degrees Celsius; reacting for 8-10 hours; adjusting pH value to neutral; (c) obtaining carboxyl butyl benzene latex; (2) a cement-based granite plate, which comprises 20-40 pts. wt. cement, 10-20 pts. wt. mineral powder, 3-8 pts. wt. silicon ash, 130-180 pts. wt. quartz sand, 0.2-1.5 pts. wt. reinforcing fibre, 0.1-1 pts. wt. interface reinforcing agent, 5-15 pts. wt. carboxyl butyl benzene latex, 0.02-0.1 pts. wt. cement brightener, 0.3-1 pts. wt. plasticizer, 0.003 to 0.01 pts. wt. antifoaming agent, 5-10 pts. wt. water; (3) a method for preparing cement-based granite plate, which involves: (a) mixing carboxyl butyl benzene latex cement, brightener, plasticizer with water uniformly to obtain mixed emulsion;(b) taking cement, mineral powder, silicon ash, quartz sand, reinforcing fiber, and interface reinforcing agent; stirring, and mixing uniformly to obtain mixed material; (c) adding mixed material in mixed emulsion, then adding de-foaming agent, and stirring uniformly; (d) injecting in mold, then vibration forming, after maintaining formed product for 3-5 days, demolding, grinding to make surface, which is granite representation, then continuously maintaining for 26-30 days to obtain cement-based granite plate
