NOVELTY - Graphene/montmorillonite suspension and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide are ultrasonically processed and uniformly mixed. A reducing agent is added to mixture, stirred and reacted, to obtain black flocculant precipitate. The black flocculant precipitate is washed, filtered, dried, milled and sieved, to obtain graphene/montmorillonite nano composite material. USE - Preparation of graphene/montmorillonite nano composite material used for treating heavy metal-containing wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene/montmorillonite nano composite material is prepared by simple, economical and rapid method.
