NOVELTY - Method for preparing a composite material for cerium dioxide or graphene supercapacitor involves taking cerium nitrate hexahydrate and graphene oxide to produce a composite material by hydrothermal reaction under the action of a silane coupling agent, the specific steps includes (a) adding cerium nitrate hexahydrate to the silane coupling agent to obtain solution (A), (b) adding silane coupling agent to cerium nitrate hexahydrate to obtain suspension (B), and (c) mixing the solution (A) obtained in step (a) and the suspension (B) obtained in step (b) to obtain a mixed solution, pouring the mixed solution into graphene oxide, mixing and transferring to a hydrothermal reaction kettle, and controlling the reaction temperature to 120-180 degrees C, reacting for 12-48 hours, cooling, post-processing and drying to make composite material. USE - The method is used for preparing composite material for cerium dioxide or graphene supercapacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation, low energy consumption, environmentally-friendly, and strong repeatability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a composite material for cerium oxide or graphene supercapacitor comprising producing by the preparation method, where the cerium oxide in the composite material has a typical cubic structure.
