NOVELTY - The preparation of graphene quantum dot UV detector involves preparing graphene quantum dot, weighing citric acid and benzenediol, mixing and stirring, ultrasonically treating for 15-35 minutes, water heating at 120-180 degrees C for 4-20 hours, washing with ethanol for 2-5 times to obtain graphene quantum dot of different quantum yields and fluorescent colors, selecting quantum dots of different quantum yields, adding water or an organic solvent so that the concentration of the quantum dots is 10-20 mg/l, using disc container having four separate spaces, sealing graphene quantum dots of different quantum yields into four independent spaces. The benzenediol is catechol or hydroquinone or resorcinol. The molar ratio of citric acid to benzenediol is 1:(0.5-5). The different quantum yields of graphene quantum dot are 10-20%, 30-40%, 50-60% and 60-80%. USE - Preparation of graphene quantum dot UV detector used for measuring UV intensity. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene quantum dot UV detector, and effectively measures the UV intensity for preventing UV rays.
