▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Process comprises suspending an electroactive material in a solvent; suspending or dissolving a carbon precursor in the solvent; and depositing the carbon precursor on the electroactive material to form a carbon-coated electroactive material. USE - The composition is useful in an electrochemical device that is a lithium secondary battery, a lithium primary battery, a capacitor, a lithium air battery, or a sodium sulfur battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The process is carried out at low temperature. The process provides highly conductive electrode with improved performance of the cell. The process leads to significant reduction in the amount of conductive additive in the electrode which can result in high active material loading and additional cell capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a composition comprising the carbon-coated electroactive material prepared by the process.
