USE - Efficient removal of metallic copper ions from wastewater. ADVANTAGE - The method enables removal of metallic copper ions from wastewater by simple and efficient process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for efficiently removing metallic copper ions from wastewater, involves (1) dissolving graphene oxide in water, atomizing with an ultrasonic atomizer, passing through tube furnace, collecting with Teflon (RTM: PTFE) filter, drying to obtain graphene microspheres adsorbent, (2) adding graphene microspheres adsorbent to copper-containing wastewater at room temperature, centrifuging, (3) eluting the graphene microspheres adsorbent adsorbed with copper ions with an eluent, carrying out desorption reaction after period of time, collecting the desorbed sorbent and inspecting the adsorption performance.
