NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide/nano copper composite antibacterial agent comprises (a) dissolving copper sulfate in deionized water to obtain copper sulfate solution A, (b) heating, and stirring the polyvinyl alcohol to dissolve it in deionized water to form polyvinyl alcohol solution B, (c) adding solution B in a magnetic stirrer, stirring, adding solution A dropwise to dissolve the copper ions in B, protecting polyvinyl alcohol, adding glucose to reduce copper ions into nano-copper particles, and finally forming a solution C, (d) dissolving graphene oxide in deionized water, ultrasonically stirring to form a stable dispersion suspension, adding solution C to the suspension, transferring to a long glass tube, sealing, freezing, thawing, repeating many times to form graphite oxide /nano-copper composite material, and (e) washing, centrifuging, and freeze-drying to obtain the graphene oxide/nano copper composite antibacterial agent. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide/nano copper composite antibacterial agent. ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation and utilizes easily available raw materials. The antibacterial agent: is economical; and has good antibacterial effect, higher stability and longer antibacterial time; improves the antibacterial performance and mechanical strength of polylactic acid; and reduces the weight of environmentally friendly tableware. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a graphene oxide/nano copper composite antibacterial masterbatch; and (2) a method for preparing graphene oxide/nano copper composite antibacterial masterbatch comprising adding the graphene oxide/nano-copper composite antibacterial agent to the polylactic acid substrate with a ratio of 95-99:1-5 into the hopper of the twin-screw extruder, extruding and granulating through a twin-screw extruder to obtain a graphene composite polylactic acid antibacterial masterbatch.
