NOVELTY - Preparation of polyethylene/graphene conductive composite material comprises adding graphene oxide in water and ethanol solvent; ultrasonically dispersing; adding polyethylene powder under mechanical stirring; evaporating solvent; continuously vacuum drying to remove the residual solvent; obtaining polyethylene powder coated with a layer of graphene oxide in a core-shell structure; adding composite particles in hydrazine hydrate solution; heating; mechanically stirring; filtering; washing with deionized water; and vacuum drying. USE - Preparation of polyethylene/graphene conductive composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides composite material with lower percolation threshold value and higher conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of polyethylene/graphene conductive composite material comprising polyethylene powder and graphene oxide at 100:0.05-1.60 mass ratio, where polyethylene powder is coated with graphene oxide, comprises adding graphene oxide in water and ethanol solvent at 50:1 mass ratio; ultrasonically dispersing for 2-3 hours; adding polyethylene powder at 90-95 degrees C under mechanical stirring; evaporating solvent in an oven of 80 degrees C for 24 hours; continuously vacuum drying in an oven at 95 degrees C for 24 hours to remove the residual solvent; obtaining polyethylene powder coated with a layer of graphene oxide in a core-shell structure; adding composite particles in hydrazine hydrate solution, where mass ratio of hydrazine hydrate to graphene oxide coated polyethylene is 7-8:10; heating at 90-95 degrees C; mechanically stirring for 4-6 hours; filtering; washing with deionized water; and vacuum drying to obtain powdered polyethylene/graphene conductive composite material.
