NOVELTY - Preparing vanadium oxide/manganese oxide composite carbon nanotube cage, comprises (i) mixing carbon source, vanadium source, binder and water, and subjecting the resulting mixed solution to spheroidizing treatment to obtain spheroidized material, (ii) carbonizing the spheroidized material to obtain a vanadium oxide/carbon nanotube cage composite material, (iii) mixing vanadium oxide/carbon nanotube cage composite material, potassium permanganate and water for hydrothermal reaction to obtain final product. USE - The vanadium oxide/manganese oxide composite carbon nanotube cage is useful in anode material of an aqueous zinc ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The vanadium oxide/manganese oxide composite carbon nanotube cage has excellent electrochemical performance; and produces aqueous zinc ion battery which has excellent cycle stability and high capacity retention rate.
