NOVELTY - Synthesis of visible light reduced insoluble graphene, involves mixing and stirring expanded graphite, sodium persulfate, sodium vanadate, phosphotungstic acid and deionized water at room temperature, vacuum filtering the obtained mixture, after completion of the reaction, washing the resulting cake to neutral, and drying filter cake naturally, oxidizing filter cake to obtain graphene oxide, filtering the obtained material, carrying out visible light reduction of filtrate, and drying to obtain solid graphene sheet. USE - Synthesis of visible light reduced insoluble graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method ensures simple and economical synthesis of visible light reduced insoluble graphene, and effectively prevents the need of any optical catalyst or a reducing agent to achieve a large-scale production of stable insoluble graphene and is environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Synthesis of visible light reduction insoluble graphene, involves mixing and stirring expanded graphite, sodium persulfate, sodium vanadate, phosphotungstic acid and deionized water at room temperature, vacuum filtering the obtained mixture, after completion of the reaction, washing the resulting cake to neutral, and drying filter cake naturally, oxidizing filter cake to obtain graphene oxide, again vacuum filtering the resulting material, washing the resulting cake in deionized water until neutral to obtain the resulting cake ultrasound, filtering the obtained material after ultrasonic filtration, carrying out visible light reduction of filtrate, obtaining the reduced suspension after drying, to obtain solid reduced graphene.
