▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Forming a bio-diesel fuel from a biomass feedstock involves: i. providing a biomass feedstock; ii. ensuring the moisture content of the biomass feedstock is 10 wt.% or less of the biomass feedstock; iii. pyrolysing the low moisture biomass feedstock at 950degreesC to form a mixture of biochar, hydrocarbon feedstock, non-condensable light gases, such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and methane, and water; iv. separating the hydrocarbon feedstock from the mixture; v. hydrocracking the hydrocarbon feedstock in the presence of a hydrocracking catalyst and a hydrogen containing gas to produce a bio-oil; and vi. fractionating the resulting bio-oil to obtain a bio-derived diesel fuel fraction. USE - Method for forming a bio-diesel fuel, bio-derived LPG fuel, bio-derived gasoline fuel, bio-derived jet fuel from biomass feedstock (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method for forming bio-diesel fuel is eco-friendly, cost effective, reduces the time period, increases the yield of bio-diesel fuel and bio-derived hydrogen gas. Biochar is used as a more cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative to activated carbon in order to remove contaminants from the hydrocarbon feed. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. a process for forming a bio-diesel fuel from a bio-derived hydrocarbon feedstock, which involves: i. providing a bio-derived hydrocarbon feedstock comprising at least 0.1 wt.% one or more 8C compounds, at least 1 wt.% one or more 10C compounds, at least 5 wt.% one or more 12C compounds, at least 5 wt.% one or more 16C compounds and at least 30 wt.% one or more 18C compounds; ii. hydrocracking the hydrocarbon feedstock in the presence of a hydrocracking catalyst and a hydrogen containing gas to produce a bio-oil; and iii. fractionating the resulting bio-oil to obtain a bio-derived diesel fuel fraction; and 2. a bio-derived LPG fuel, bio-derived gasoline fuel, bio-derived jet fuel, bio-derived diesel fuel, preferably the bio-derived diesel fuel is formed entirely from a biomass feedstock.
