NOVELTY - Composite material comprises 10-90 pts. wt. polybutylene adipate terephthalate, 90-10 pts. wt. starch, 10-20 pts. wt. water, 20-35 pts. wt. plasticizer, 0.5-2 pts. wt. modifier and 0.1-1 pts. wt. dispersant. The total pts. wt. of polybutylene adipate terephthalate and starch is 100 pts. wt. USE - Used as composite material. ADVANTAGE - The material: does not contain harmful chemical additives; produces beautiful products, does not provide three wastes in the production process thus discards in nature; can be completely decomposed and merged with the soil, protects environment; eliminates polylactic acid, in the selection of raw materials; reduces the material cost of the entire composite material; and production method avoids the problems of large water and high energy consumption, long time-consuming and high labor intensity in the casting film forming method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing a composite material, comprising (i) adding polybutylene adipate terephthalate, starch, and plasticizer into water, mixing, heating and stirring until mixed fully; (ii) adding modifier and dispersant into the solution obtained in step (i) and stirring for 20-45 minutes at 70-100 degrees C; and (iii) cooling the material for 12-15 hours and adding it into the screw granulator to melt and extruder.
