NOVELTY - Electronic synaptic device based on nanocomposites including a protein, comprises: a substrate; a lower electrode formed on the substrate; a protein nanoparticle layer formed on the lower electrode; and an upper electrode formed on the protein nanoparticle layer. The protein contained in the protein nanoparticle layer comprises albumen (preferred), silk fibroin, enzyme, sericin, gelatin, and lysozyme. The nanoparticles contained in the protein nanoparticle layer are at least one of graphene quantum dots, cadmium selenide/cadmium sulfide quantum dots, cadmium selenide/zinc selenide quantum dots, and indium phosphide/zinc sulfide quantum dots. The nanoparticles contained in the protein nanoparticle layer are a metal or mixture having gold, silver, copper, platinum, nickel, aluminum, zinc oxide, and zinc-aluminum, or a metal oxide containing the metal. USE - Used as electronic synaptic device. ADVANTAGE - The device: exhibits synaptic properties; is simple, economical and eco-friendly; has a simple structure, fast operation characteristics, low fabrication costs, and potential applications for high density integration; exhibits high operational stability; and utilizes graphene quantum dots that exhibit an excellent charge storage function in the potential applications of electronic devices.
