NOVELTY - Method comprises preparing polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/silicon dioxide/tartaric acid (TA) electrostatic spinning solution by preparing uniform silicon dioxide dispersion using deionized water, adding PVA homogeneous aqueous solution, mixing, adding TA, mixing, ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide (GO) powder in absolute ethanol to obtain GO dispersion, adding silicon dioxide nanoparticle, placing electrospinning solution and GO/silicon dioxide mixture in an electrostatic spinning machine, collecting on the receiving roll wrapped with PVA/silicon dioxide/TA nanofiber film to obtain GO-silicon dioxide film, transferring PVA/silicon dioxide/TA electrospinning solution in the electrospinning machine, collecting on the receiving roll wrapped with PVA/silicon dioxide/TA nanofiber film and GO-silicon dioxide film to prepare another layer of PVA/silicon dioxide/TA nanofiber film to obtain a composite nanofiber membrane with a sandwich structure, hot-pressing and thermal crosslinking. USE - The method is useful for preparing environmentally-friendly self-cleaning composite nano fiber filter film. ADVANTAGE - The method has mild condition, good biocompatibility, and is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for environmentally friendly self-cleaning composite nano fiber filter membrane prepared by the method.
