NOVELTY - The modification method of graphene involves (1) adding graphene oxide, ethanol and polyethylene glycol to an ultrasonic reactor, and ultrasonically stirring at room temperature for 1-2 hours to obtain graphene dispersion, (2) adding a modifier composed of cocamide diethanolamine, octaphenyl clathrate silsesquioxane and a rare earth coupling agent to the graphene dispersion, and ultrasonically stirring to carry out surface modification to obtain modified mixed solution, and (3) filtering the modified mixed solution, recycling the solvent, and drying. USE - Modification method of graphene used for preparing lubricating oil (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables modification of graphene with excellent compatibility, stability and protection effect of mechanical component, low friction coefficient, and high thermal conductivity, and prolongs the service life of the mechanical components. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) lubricating oil which comprises 100-150 pts. wt. base oil, 0.5-2 pts. wt. modified graphene, 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. silicon carbide, 1-3 pts. wt. polysiloxane urethane acrylate, 0.5-2 pts. wt. succinate sulfonated hydrogenated castor oil, 1-3 pts. wt. oleic acid diethanolamide borate, 0.5-1.5 pts. wt. defoaming agent, and 1-2 pts. wt. antioxidant; and (2) preparation method of lubricating oil, which involves adding base oil, modified graphene, silicon carbide, polysiloxane urethane acrylate, succinate sulfonated hydrogenated castor oil and oleic acid diethanolamide borate to an ultrasonic stirrer, mixing, increasing the temperature to 60-80 degrees C, and ultrasonically stirring for 30-60 minutes to obtain mixed solution, adding defoaming agent and antioxidant to the mixed solution, uniformly stirring.
