NOVELTY - Preparation of low-expansion lithium battery silicon carbon cathode sheet involves adding porous nano-silicon, carbon nanotubes and dispersant in mass ratio of 85-95:3-15:0.2-1.3 in deionized water, stirring, adding citric acid solution, dispersing in sand mill, passing the mixed dispersion solution into spray dryer, spray drying to obtain silicon carbon nanotube precursor, mixing precursor, artificial graphite and sucrose in mass ratio of 1-15:70-90:5-20 by ball milling, ultrasonically processing and sieving to prepare uniform and compact silicon-carbon nanotube/graphite/sucrose mixed powder, sintering mixed powder under inert gas protective atmosphere, cooling, pulverizing and sieving to obtain silicon carbon powder, mixing silicon carbon powder, aqueous composite binder, graphene, dispersant and pure water, dispersing into slurry, coating the slurry on both sides of the metal foil, drying, rolling, slitting and laser cutting. USE - Preparation of low-expansion lithium battery silicon carbon cathode sheet. ADVANTAGE - The preparation method uses porous nano-silicon and one-dimensional carbon nanotube to form linear network structure outside and inside the porous nano-silicon with larger pore size, which effectively inhibits volume expansion of the silicon carbon powder during the charge-discharge cycle, and uses aqueous composite binder to improve bonding force between silicon carbon powder and other powders, thereby reducing expansion of silicon carbon cathode sheet and improving cycle life of the battery.
