NOVELTY - A lubricating oil compounding additive comprises a silane coupling agent, a graphene and copper nanowires. The mass ratio of graphene to copper nanowire is 1:(0.5-2). The mass ratio of the graphene to volume of silane coupling agent is 1 mg:(0.1-3.5) mL. The copper nanowire has a diameter of 20-50 nm, and a length of 10-900 nm. USE - Lubricating oil compounding additive. ADVANTAGE - The solubility in oil is improved after silanization and the overall friction performance is improved. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of lubricating oil compounding additive involves dissolving (A) the silane coupling agent in water to obtain a silane coupling agent solution, adding (B) graphene and copper nanowires to the silane coupling agent solution, ultrasonically dispersing and stirring to obtain an intermediate solution, drying (C) intermediate solution to obtain lubricating oil compounding additive.
