NOVELTY - Composite material obtained by aligning graphene oxide into polyolefins, and amount graphene oxide in composite material is 0.1-10 wt.%. USE - The composite material is useful for barrier materials (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has good mechanical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing composite material, comprising (i) mixing graphene oxide freeze-dried powder with solvent at mass-volume 1g: 200-1000 ml, dispersing ultrasonically at a temperature lower than the boiling point of the solvent, adding organic substance, refluxing with nitrogen, reacting after the reaction is complete, filtering reaction solution by suction filter, washing filter cake repeatedly washed with excess ethanol and drying to obtain organic graft graphene oxide; (ii) dispersing organic grafted graphene oxide in xylene to obtain a suspension, blending suspension with a polyolefin solution, heating to 70-130 degrees C, passing nitrogen, stirring mixture under reflux, dispersing ultrasonically for 0.1-2 hours, cooling to room temperature, filtering resulting mixture using suction-filter, washing filter cake repeatedly with ethanol or acetone, drying under vacuum, quenching with liquid nitrogen and pulverizing to obtain graphene oxide premix; and (iii) mixing graphene oxide premix with the polyolefin, extruding in screw extruder, irradiating to melt inside the extruder using ultrasonic generator at the outlet section of the screw extruder, extruding oriented graphene oxide/polyolefin composites with highly ordered arrangement of graphene oxides in the extrusion direction of extruder at ultrasonic irradiation direction and the direction of the incoming melt extrusion angle is 60-120 degrees .
