NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-based nano lanthanum oxide lubricating oil anti-wear additive comprises (i) dissolving lanthanum chloride in deionized water to obtain lanthanum chloride aqueous solution of 0.01-0.05 mol/l, adding the graphene oxide, ultrasonically dispersing for 0.5-1 hours, (ii) adding ammonia aqueous solution in the reaction system of the step (i), stirring and reacting for 0.5-2 hours at 50-95 degrees C, finishing reaction, centrifugally separating precipitate, washing deionized water and drying, (iii) drying precipitate is put into the step obtained in the step (ii) into the tubular furnace, nitogen atmosphere at 500-900 degrees C for 0.5-3 hours, cooling to room temperature to obtain graphene-based nanometer lanthanum oxide compound, (iv) adding graphene-based nano cerium oxide complex to anhydrous ethanol for 0.5-1 hour, and adding upper layer suspension to the lubricating base oil, and stirring at 50-110 degrees C. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-based nano lanthanum oxide lubricating oil anti-wear additive. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and environmentally friendly, and additive improves anti-wear performance, has better protection ability against friction pair, and improves service life of the mechanical device.
