NOVELTY - Preparation of lithium air battery cathode electrode material comprises mixing graphene microchips with calcium oxide, ball milling, and high temperature calcining under protection of inert gas to obtain graphene-supported calcium carbide powder; cleaning for 3-6 times with organic solvent, drying, mixing with lithium carbonate, and high temperature heat treating to obtain powdery material of graphene-loaded metal lithium; and heating, melting powder under protection of inert gas, pressing into a bulk material, plasma treating, and covering surface with thin layer of lithium carbonate. USE - Method for preparing lithium air battery cathode electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The electrode material has high thermal stability, effectively curbs occurrence of side reactions, avoids corrosion and deactivation of electrode materials, and improves stability and safety of the lithium air battery system.
