▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A composite comprises a macroporous scaffold (1) comprising pores (2) and a polymer matrix positioned within the pores. The polymer matrix comprises a functional polymer particles (3) and a structural polymer (4). USE - Composite used for separating component from mixture for pharmaceutical applications, and catalyzing chemical reaction in mixture (all claimed). Can also be used for gas storage and sensing applications. ADVANTAGE - The composite has improved salt tolerance and high binding capacity and reduces the total number of purification steps, thereby reducing processing time and resource expenditures. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of the composite, which involves infiltrating the pores with a liquid comprising the polymer matrix or a precursor thereof and performing nonsolvent induced phase separation (NIPS) on the macroporous scaffold infiltrated with the liquid; (2) method for separating component from first mixture, which involves passing the first mixture containing the component through the composite and isolating the component from the first mixture; and (3) method for catalyzing a chemical reaction in a mixture, which involves passing the second mixture through the composite. The chemical reaction is catalyzed by the composite. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the macroporous scaffold.
