▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Sensor (400), comprises a graphene layer (14), many binding agents coupled to the graphene layer to generate a functionalized graphene layer, where the binding agents exhibit specific binding to at least one epitope of SARS-COV-2 and many electrical conductors electrically coupled to the functionalized graphene layer for measuring at least one electrical property of the functionalized graphene layer. The epitope is S or N protein of the SARS-COV-2. The binding agents are anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. The sample comprises a biological sample, preferably blood sample. The binding agents are coupled to the graphene layer via many linkers. The linkers: are covalently attached at one end to the graphene layer and at another end to at least one epitope of SARS-COV-2; comprise 1-pyrenebutonic acid succinimidyl ester. The graphene layer is functionalized with many hydroxy. The binding agents are coupled: to hydroxy by many aldehyde moieties; or to the graphene layer via protein G. USE - The sensor is useful for detecting SARS-COV-2 in a sample (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The sensor: can be utilized at the point of sample collection by a lay person with minimal technical expertise; and utilizes antibodies, thus enhancing the detection of the SARS-COV-2 virus; and provides the detection results rapidly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) detecting SARS-COV-2 in a biological sample; (2) fabricating a sensor for detecting antibodies reactive against SARS-COV-2 virus in a biological sample; and (3) a disposable cartridge for detecting SARS-COV-2 virus in a biological sample.
