USE - A diamond grinding wheel. ADVANTAGE - The diamond grinding wheel has improved thermal stability and toughness, strong grinding property, and longer life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A diamond grinding wheel comprises 40-45 pts. wt. diamond abrasive, 20-23 pts. wt. zirconium corundum abrasive, 3-4 pts. wt. aluminum oxide, 1-2 pts. wt. copper powder, 1-2 pts. wt. cobalt powder, 2-3 pts. wt. chromium, 1-2 pts. wt. carbon black, 1-2 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 2-3 pts. wt. titanium dioxide, 1-2 pts. wt. gypsum, and 7-9 pts. wt. additive agent. The additive agent comprises 10-12 pts. wt. silicon carbide grinding material, 3-5 pts. wt. mullite powder, 1-2 pts. wt. zinc oxide, 2-3 pts. wt. magnesium oxide, 2-3 pts. wt. kaolin, 2-3 pts. wt. polyvinyl alcohol, 1-2 pts. wt. trimeric sodium phosphate, 3-4 pts. wt. N220 (RTM: carbon black), and 5-7 pts. wt. charcoal. The additive agent is prepared by mixing the mullite, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, kaolin, and N220 (RTM: carbon black) mix, grinding into 200-300-mesh powder, adding polyvinyl alcohol and mixing uniformly, pressing into blank at 10-15 MPa, calcining at 720-750 degrees C for 2-3 hours, cooling, crushing into fine powder of 150-200 meshes and mixing the powder with the other remaining components to obtain the finished product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of diamond grinding wheel comprising: (A) mixing the aluminum oxide, copper powder, cobalt powder, chromium sesquioxide, titanium dioxide, and gypsum mix, heating at 1650-1750 degrees C for 20-30 minutes, and then naturally cooling to room temperature, ball milling into 200-300 meshes powder, adding carbon black, graphene oxide, calcined alum, and additive agent, and stirring uniformly; (B) adding the diamond grinding material and corundum grinding material, and mixing; (C) press forming the mixture into the mold at 250-300 degrees C and 12-15 MPa for 10-12 minutes to obtain blank body; and (D) sintering the blank, heating at 380-400 degrees C for 20-25 minutes, keeping the temperature for 4-6 hours, then taking 15-20 degrees C/minute at 1380-1450 degrees C, keeping the temperature for 6-8 minutes, and naturally cooling to obtain the product.
