NOVELTY - A graphene fiber material comprises 100 pts. wt. modified graphene oxide/nylon 6 composite material and 0.1-5 pts. wt. additive. The graphene fiber material is prepared by weighing raw materials and melt spinning, and has diameter of 5-50 mu m. The modified graphene oxide is prepared by dissolving graphene oxide in deionized water and then ultrasonically processing, heating the mixture at 80-95 degrees C, adding p-phenylenediamine and then reacting for 2-4 hours, filtering the mixture and then washing and drying. p-Phenylenediamine and graphene oxide are used in a mass ratio of 20-25:1. USE - Graphene fiber material is useful as high-temperature resistant engineering component and flame-retardant building material. ADVANTAGE - The graphene fiber material has excellent dripping resistance, high temperature resistance, physical and mechanical properties and strength, and can be prepared in simple and economical manner.
