NOVELTY - Preparing defective graphene comprises (1) pre-treating the copper foil, (2) adding the pre-treated copper foil in a CVD furnace, introducing argon at 100-200 sccm, hydrogen 10-30sccm, increasing the temperature to 1030-1035 degrees C, adjusting the flow of hydrogen to 130-150 sccm, grow 10-30 sccm of mixed gas for growth, the growth time is 5-30 minutes to obtain defective graphene, and the mixed gas is methane and argon, (2) graphene grown on copper foil is laser etched according to the pattern shape to obtain defective graphene, the frequency of the laser etching is 50-100 Hz and speed is 50-80 mm/s and the power is 40-60 W. USE - The method is useful for preparing defective graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method has smooth appearance and improves the electrochemical performance of the battery.
