NOVELTY - A graphene/needle-shaped nickel hydroxide nano composite material preparing method involves preparing graphene, adding graphene to aqueous solution, stirring, drying, activating graphene and mixture and washing with deionized water by activating to obtain activated graphene. The activated graphene is dispersed in nickel salt aqueous solution, stirring activated graphene nickel salt aqueous solution by adding alkaline aqueous solution, reacting under stirring condition, stopping stirring, continuing reaction under static condition, centrifuging, washing and drying to obtain finished product. USE - Method for preparing a graphene/needle-shaped nickel hydroxide nano composite material that is utilized in an electrode of a super capacitor. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing nano composite material with high surface area, high capacity, better energy density and better circulation stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene/needle-shaped nickel hydroxide nano composite material preparing method involves preparing graphene, adding graphene to aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide, stirring and drying by placing in a nickel dry pan, activating graphene and mixture into an activation furnace in nitrogen atmosphere, washing with deionized water having pH of 7 by activating with dilute hydrochloric acid and drying to obtain activated graphene. The activated graphene is ultrasonically dispersed in nickel salt aqueous solution, stirring activated graphene nickel salt aqueous solution by adding alkaline aqueous solution at 40-60 degrees C until pH of the solution reaches 12 in a water bath, reacting under stirring condition, stopping stirring, continuing reaction for 5 hours under static condition, centrifuging, washing and drying to obtain finished product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a graphene/needle-shaped nickel hydroxide nano composite material prepared by the method.
