▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - The graphene oxide/sodium alginate composite microspheres are gel-like pellets with diameter of 2-3 mm, and are prepared using negatively charged graphene oxide and sodium alginate in a mass ratio 20-30:1-2. USE - Graphene oxide/sodium alginate composite microspheres for use as adsorbent in for dye adsorption and water treatment (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide/sodium alginate composite microspheres have excellent adsorption properties, and is easy to operate, easy to collect and recovery, and has high recycling rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing graphene oxide/sodium alginate composite microspheres, which involves (i) taking 5 g graphite powder and 2.5 g sodium nitrate, placing in ice water bath, adding 115 mL concentrated sulfuric acid and 15 g potassium permanganate, stirring and controlling the temperature to 30-32 degrees C, dripping water, and thus making the system warmed to about 95 plus minus 3 degrees C, adding 30% of 50 mL hydrogen peroxide, reacting at 60 plus minus 2 degrees C, decanting the supernatant after the reaction is completed, suction filtering the reaction, rinsing with hydrochloric acid with concentration of 5% and obtaining graphene oxide, (ii) co-dissolving sodium alginate solution in graphene oxide solution, ultrasonically oscillation where the mass ratio of sodium alginate solution to graphene oxide is 20-30:1-2, (iii) using 2-3 wt.% calcium chloride solution as coagulation bath, adding ultrasonically-oscillated graphene oxide/sodium alginate gel solution into coagulation bath with a syringe, and obtaining gel ball, (iv) placing gel ball in glutaraldehyde solution, immersing, then washing with ultra-pure water, and obtaining the product as graphene oxide/sodium alginate composite microspheres.
