NOVELTY - Epoxy composite material comprises epoxy resin, oxides having an oxygen functional group and containing carbon and basalt fiber. USE - Used as epoxy composite material. ADVANTAGE - The epoxy composite material has improved interfacial and mechanical strength and improved thermal properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for manufacturing an epoxy composite material, comprising (i) preparing a primary mixture by mixing an epoxy resin and an oxide having an oxygen functional group and containing carbon with an organic solvent; (ii) preparing a secondary mixture by adding a curing agent to the primary mixture; and (iii) impregnating the basalt fiber in the secondary mixture and then curing it.
