▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A light-transmissive conductor comprises a light-transmissive polymer having a volume resistivity of 1x 1010-1x 104 Omega /cm, and an oriented conductive element having an aspect ratio of 10:1 or more. USE - Light-transmissive conductor used in formation of film of electro-optic display (all claimed) such as e-readers, watches, and thermostats. ADVANTAGE - The light-transmissive conductor has excellent brightness and contrast, wide viewing angles, and state bistability, and reduced power consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a film with a thickness of 500 mu m or less, which comprises the light-transmissive conductor; (2) an electro-optic display, which comprises a front electrode comprising a layer of light-transmissive conductor, the light-transmissive conductor, a back electrode, a layer of electro-optic media (32) arranged between the front electrode and the back electrode, and a voltage source coupled to the front and back electrodes; (3) a color-changing fiber, which comprises a central conductive element, a layer of electro-optic media surrounding the central conductive element, and an outer layer of light-transmissive conductor; and (4) manufacture of a light-transmissive conductor, which involves providing a light-transmissive polymer, and arranging an oriented conductive element into the light-transmissive polymer. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a cross-sectional view of the electro-optic fibers.
