NOVELTY - Preparing iron vanadate/graphene oxide (FeVO4/GO) composite material comprises (i) mixing ferric chloride, vanadium chloride and urea to prepare low eutectic solvent, and (ii) calcining the low eutectic solvent. USE - Preparation method of nano-sheet FeVO4/GO composite material used in photocatalytic water splitting for oxygen production (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the FeVO4/GO composite material by one-step pyrolysis oxidation, the preparation technique is simple, the condition is mild, and the preparation cost is low, and it is easy for industrial production, and has no pollution to the environment. It has excellent photo-catalytic OER performance, which can be applied to light catalytic water decomposition to prepare oxygen.
