NOVELTY - An electroconductive or dissipative material comprises a continuous elastomer matrix incorporated with electroconductive or dissipative polymer particles. USE - Electroconductive or dissipative material is used in the form of layer used as outer layer for manufacturing hose used for passing food and drug or starting material of food and drug and for conveyor belt, V-belt, shoe or chemical protection suit (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electroconductive or dissipative material has light appearance and excellent electroconductivity and/or conductivity, flexibility and elastic property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) production of electroconductive or dissipative layer, which involves kneading irregularly shaped or spherical polymer particles into an elastomer material by means of a roller and shaping the mixture into a layer; and (2) manufacture of a hose, which involves kneading the polymer particles into an elastomer material, forming a hose layer from the mixture, and applying at least one further layer to the hose layer or applying the hose layer to a further hose layer.
