NOVELTY - Polymer fluid loss control agent prepared by (i) adding 4-5 pts. wt. acrylamide, 5-6 pts. wt. sodium p-styrene sulfonate, 5-8 pts. wt. methacrylic acid to 50 pts. wt. water, uniformly stirring, adding 0.5-1 pts. wt. graphene oxide, carrying out closed ultrasonic dispersion to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, (ii) taking the graphene oxide dispersion of step (i) and adjusting its pH to 9-12, adding redox initiator, heating to 50-60 degrees C and reacting for 3-8 hours, cooling to 30-50 degrees C and maturing at constant temperature for 2-5 hours to obtain polymer colloid, and (iii) washing the polymer colloid obtained in step (ii) with ethanol and deionized water for multiple times, drying to a constant weight, pulverizing and granulating to obtain a fluid loss control agent, is claimed. USE - Used as polymer fluid loss control agent. ADVANTAGE - The agent: reduces the fluid loss of drilling fluid; has good high temperature resistance; can form high-quality mud cakes on the well wall; improves the stability of the mud cake; and low fluid loss. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for drilling fluid, comprising 100 pts. wt. water, 2-12 pts. wt. bentonite, 0.1-1 pts. wt. sodium carbonate, 0.001-0.3 pts. wt. sodium hydroxide, 0.2-4 pts. wt. coating agent, 3-10 pts. wt. fluid loss agent, 1-8 pts. wt. inhibitor, 0.5-9 pts. wt. blocking and anti-collapse agent, 1- 10 pts. wt. viscosity reducer, 2-6 pts. wt. fixing agent, 1-5 pts. wt. diluent, 2-9 pts. wt. lubricant, and 10-50 pts. wt. weighting agent.
