NOVELTY - A wear-resistant composite material comprises 90-99.99 wt.% polyether ether ketone resin and balance coupling agent-modified graphene oxide. The coupling agent is prepared by taking 0.1-0.8 g graphene oxide, adding 10-100 mL absolute ethanol, ultrasonically agitating for 20-40 minutes, adding 0.5-3.5 mL silane coupling agent, reacting at 65-85 degrees C for 5-15 hours, filtering, washing, and drying. USE - Wear-resistant composite material used for mechanical polishing retaining ring (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has good wear resistance, high strength, high temperature resistance, simple process, and low processing cost and extends service life of retaining ring. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of composite material comprising dispersing modified graphene oxide in absolute ethanol for 0.5-2 hours to get 0.05-0.50 g/10 mL solution; ultrasonic dispersing with polyether ether ketone in absolute ethanol for 10-30 minutes, mixing at room temperature for 20-30 minutes, filtering, and drying at 60-80 degrees C for 6-8 hours; and extruding at 360-380 degrees C, pelletizing, drying, melting, and injection molding.
