NOVELTY - Preparing solid-state photoluminescence graphene quantum dots comprises uniformly mixing melamine, a precursor, and a solvent to form a reaction liquid, where the precursor is o-phenylenediamine, m-phenylenediamine, glucose, and/or dimethylaminoborane, heating the reaction solution for hydrothermal reaction, cooling to room temperature, and filtering and drying to obtain solid photoluminescence graphene quantum dots. USE - The graphene quantum dots is useful in the field of anti-counterfeiting (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: emits bright yellow-green fluorescence when excited by ultraviolet light in a room temperature environment; can reach attenuation life more than 500 ms, and can reach visible time more than 10 second.
