NOVELTY - Antimicrobial face protecting device comprises a frame (10) comprising a first arcuate bar (12) to removably accommodate a flexible shield (20), where the flexible shield covers a face of a user, a second arcuate bar (14) coupled to the first arcuate bar in a spaced apart configuration forming a vent (25), the second arcuate bar abuts a head of the user, and the vent allows unidirectional air flow towards the user face and a pair of temples (16) comprising arms extending from the first arcuate bar or the second arcuate bar to secure the face protecting device on the head of the user. The flexible shield is configured to cover a forehead, eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, cheek, chin and a lateral side of the ears of the user. USE - The device is useful for mitigating or protecting a face of a user to reduce risk of direct facial contact with airborne micro-organisms, minute hazardous particulate matter, fluids, and to gain protection against contagious diseases.
