NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphene quantum dot sensitized europium-terbium co-doped layered hydroxide involves (a) preparing europium-terbium co-doped layered hydroxide compound (I), (b) treating the compound (I) by using an ion exchange method to synthesize a citrate-intercalated (CA) europium-terbium co-doped layered hydroxide compound (II), and (c) hydrothermally carbonizing the compound (II) to obtain a graphene quantum dot (GQD) sensitized europium-terbium co-doped layered hydroxide (III). USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene quantum dot sensitized europium-terbium co-doped layered hydroxide. ADVANTAGE - The method adopts large-scale production, and provides product with excellent optical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing graphene quantum dot sensitized europium-terbium co-doped layered hydroxide involves (a) preparing europium-terbium co-doped layered hydroxide compound of formula: NO3-LEuxTb1-xH (I), (b) treating the compound (I) by using an ion exchange method to synthesize a citrate-intercalated (CA) europium-terbium co-doped layered hydroxide of formula: CA-LEuxTb1-xH (II), (c) hydrothermally carbonizing the compound (II) to obtain a graphene quantum dot-sensitized europium-terbium co-doped layered hydroxide of formula: GQD-LEuxTb1-xH (III).
