NOVELTY - Ultrasonic cutting of graphene oxide comprises (i) adding water to graphene oxide, to obtain suspension of graphene oxide; (ii) carrying out ultrasonic treatment of suspension graphene oxide in an ultrasound device, controlling the temperature suspension of graphene oxide in the range of 30-50 degrees C; (iii) centrifuging the step (ii) graphene oxide suspension, to obtain graphene oxide precipitate; and (iv) drying the step (iii) graphene oxide precipitate, to obtain nano-sheets of graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful in ultrasonic cutting of graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is economical; does not utilizes other chemicals; and produces product having small size and narrow distribution.
