NOVELTY - Preparing a superhydrophobic composite material, comprises (i) ultrasonically dispersing the graphene oxide-chitosan composite material in deionized water and adding Fe(NO)3) 3.6H2O and Zn (NO)3)2.6H2O, simultaneously dropwise adding NH3.H2O to adjust the pH to 10-11, allowing to stand for 12 hours, filtering to obtain a precipitate, washing the precipitate with deionized water and drying to obtain a hybrid, (ii) adding hybrid, POSSNH2 and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide into a single-neck flask filled with ethanol, performing ultrasonic treatment, performing circulating reflux, performing rotary evaporation after the reaction is finished, performing heat treatment, filtering and drying to obtain the super-hydrophobic composite filler, and (iii) dispersing the super-hydrophobic composite filler into an ethanol solution, adding epoxy resin, stirring for 1 hours, adding a curing agent, uniformly stirring, removing ethanol through rotary evaporation to obtain the final product USE - The method is useful for preparing a superhydrophobic composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material: has excellent stability, flame retardant and hydrophobicity property; improves the comprehensive performance of the epoxy resin and increases the interlayer distance between the graphene oxide.
